So, after having spent a few days here so far what can I say.........This is a lovely city but its a very fast one too!! I've lived in London and I thought that place was fast but Manila makes London look like a countryside village lol.

You have to have a formula one drivers reflex to drive here, forget about indicators, horns are the way to indicate which way you're going (dont ask why or how, it just is that way!!). Pedestrians kind of have right of way, I impress on the words 'kind of'. There are zebra crossings but they dont mean nothing, you either risk it and go or wait for a week to cross a road the only thing I can say is thank god for the crossing security guards, yes thats right, they have security guards at each crossing, armed ones too!!!

There are guards everywhere, shopping malls, banks, restaurants, bars. They are all armed, pistols, pump action shotguns, take your pick. Well, not literally of course haha.

I'm still trying to decide if I could live and work here but I have just over another week to work this part out.

We're trying to find a nice beach resort to spend a couple of days at, they all seem to be a 1-3 hour drive away but hopefully we'll find something. Until then i'll settle for the 41st floor rooftop pool in my freinds apartment block where i'm staying, for now. The pic attached to this entry is taken from my friends 20th floor balcony........

Everyone is very friendly here and are always there to help if needs be which is always nice to see. Its hot and I mean hot!! it hasn't been below 32 degrees since I arrived but air conditioning helps big time!! even during the night it doesn't go below 25 degrees! i'm not complaining though considering what the weather is like back home in Blighty although I do enjoy building a snowman
