Ok, we've been here in Perth for 2 weeks now and this will be our last weekend here as we fly to Melbourne on Sunday! (However Lorraine is coming back to stay in Perth till the end of March). We've been here a few days now. Yesterday (Tuesday) was the first day that we had the car to ourselves. So we headed out to look for a beach. After getting lost we went through North Beach, Scarborough (not the Yorkshire one!) and ended up at City beach. The beach had beautiful soft white sand and the sea had great rolling waves. In Perth! Arrived after two fairly comfortable flights on Friday evening! The airports were busier than expected. I was surprised at Perth airport as it was a Little small, but the technology through customs meant we got out quickly. Sarah and Lou's apartment is very nice and spacious.
