Change of plans...

Have you ever spent a few days with someone from another country and flippantly thrown out a "you're welcome to crash at my place for a few days if you're ever over my way" offer? - hoping. nay, expecting that they'll never take you up on the offer. Let this be a lesson to you. Don't ever - I mean ever - offer this to a bloke who has an open diary... as I do!

It seems that I'm a likeable fella. I've scored a few invites to catch up in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington and British Columbia. So I'm going. What the heck... the dollar's good, accommodation's cheap and I've little else on my plate for the next few months. I'll make a quick trip home to get my bike and to enjoy Rod and Al's wedding then it's hasta la vista baby!
