Lima! Last place in Peru before Argentina. Quite scary how fast its all gone really. Have really enjoyed Peru, definitly the favourite of the three countries we´ve done so far in S.America. well hello readers! Another three places ticked off with Lima being all that is left for us in Peru before we fly to Argentina. Starting where we left off, Arequipa! Hellooooo!!! Ok, so we´ve done Puno and Cusco now, and just got to Arequipa. Seen lots, and eaten plenty too. So....Puno, just by lake titicacca, and so we did a tour of the lake to see the floating islands (picture), and another island. Glad first impressions aren´t everything as otherwise we´d have boarded the next bus out. The city simply sprawls through a deep valley, and you learnt to enjoy the view as it sits against a mountain backdrop.
