Hi everyone.. greetings from Karanjini National Park in Western Oz... we set off from Broome a couple of days ago on the 'Easyrider' tour bus which takes us all the way to Perth....we were both quite happy to see the back of Broome !! - far too hot for us poms. Our driver on the bus is a bit of a nutter - he's called 'Scoobs' for starters!!! He took us out Broome to 80 Mile Beach then down to Port Hedland which was a real frontier town - not the kind of place you go to the pub.. On the second day we were driving for about 4 hours when Scoobs pulled into the Karanjini National Park and then pulled up at the top of one of the gorges. We climbed down the gorge and the sight was amazing - crystal clear swimming pools and waterfalls - a real hidden paradise.. We spent a couple of hours swimming in the pools and getting the best back and shoulders massages by sitting under the waterfalls - it was great..... We left Karanjini and headed for Tom Price where we met wild Kangaroos and got to stay in a glorified shed !! - we certainly know how to travel in style ! all our love - speak soon Rob and Shelley xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
