Los Angeles is a cool and interesting place. I can understand why there are so many ex pats here. I have been all round LA now, and feel that there really is not anywhere else to go. I have been hanging round with my friend Carlos who is a location manager for the film business, so I have seen the back end of how films are made. I feel totally refreshed after staying here since the 4th of Feb. While I have been here, there has been some really bad weather, and now I am ready to leave, the weather has improved. I am starting to be considered a local here, even the guy at the internet place knows me by my name, and all the staff at a bar called Jones let me and Trevor (another cockney who lives out here) have a lock in every time we go there. So that has to be an sign to leave. I managed to go to Universal studios's twice. Once to the theme park and the other time Carlos got us a drive on pass to go behind the scenes. I have some really good photos's of a 747 crash site for the new War of the Worlds movie coming out soon, starring Tom Cruise. Hopefully I can get upto a theme park called Magic Moutain, where they have some of the worlds fastest and highest rides before I leave. I have been very slack using this postcard feature as Carla did all the updates as she is far more literate than me. So I will keep it updated from now on. Keep a look out for forth coming logs. Rob
