Bunnings tries to dig his way home

Today we headed out to Lowood again for some more decorating. John was given a new job today – Susie had obviously recognised John's physical prowess- either that or she has noticed how bad his painting is- so she gave him a digging job. He set to digging his way back to the uk- through layers concrete and dust- giving up each time after a depth of around 6 inches. (just deep enough for Susies bushes). After 14 holes, two blisters and a bad back – sounds like his usual round of golf- he gave up and resorted to inspection control of the painting. Now nicknamed " You missed a bit Bunnings" after the famous DIY store, whose hat he was sporting- he eventually gave up harassing us as well. We had a great night with Susie and Peter when we got home-Spaghetti Bolognaise and wine – who could ask for more.
