Hey there - i'm supposed to be on my way to work but am waiting for the BT man to come and fit the line. oh yeh, by the way I've moved into a flat in east london!! Like Sannah, I'm gobsmacked you ate insects! That must be an experience for you and no way I'm having you guys egging me on to eat insects here! I'm so jealous that you're having a great time, I wish I went travelling while I was at uni but now I'll have to do it in bits. Just been updating myself on this website looking at messages and pictures, you're all looking really well and look like u r having the time of ur lives. Sophie- happy belated birthday (sorry its late) and what a way to spend your birthday! and ouch about the jellyfish. I dont blame you all for not wanting to come back to Uk - reality!! :-)
You all have encouraged me to save up to go travelling next summer and im told my parents i dont want a car now for my 21st, they are going to pay for tickets to go travelling :-) EEK!!!
Bungee jumping!!!! WOW!!! u all sure r really brave!!! i cant wait to see the pictures of it, and eating insects!! my stomach is churning at the thought!! Eww!!! :-)

Eating insects was sure one of the most craziest fings we've dun! for those who wanna know what they tasted like- PAPER!!! Try some at home!
It was even worse cos the same night we were taking advantage of the two for one cocktails and got ahem- very merry. The next day we had to wake up early to get a speed boat to the beautiful Phi Phi islands but me and jess ended up puking all the way to the islands in the amusement of the other people on the boat! How rather embarrassing!!

just spend the last 3 days relaxing on the beaches in thailand, its gorgeous here, the sea and and teh sky is so blue. what more can you want. We went snorkelling in clear blue sea, and saw the most amzing fishes, love it.

Hey , talking about the craziest thing! guess what me and the girls ate the other day, we went to a market in krabi, and bought beetles, locusts and maggots, i manage to make the first move and ate a maggot. then i gave the girls confident and we ate them all, seriously it was mad but it wasnt bad at all trust me!
we are off to malaysia in two days, cants wait, see the monkeys.
Thats it for now, tomorrow we are gettibng a jeep and explore the place tomorrow woo!

Well I'm glad you told us about the bungee jump after you had done it rather than before. I think I'm going to stop charting your progress in the Lonely Planet guide because it tells you all the bits us mums don't want to know, like how people drown whilst tubing down the river and being trapped under overhanging tree branches! Your travels really are turning into the trip of a lifetime, you're covering such a lot of ground and seeing the countries as they really are. Feels like you've been gone months. hey everyone! its been a while since ive put a message on this!! The girls have been filling the gaps for me!! Travelling is still the best time of my life and do not want to come back to england and get stuck into usual routine at uni.. yuk!

Laos is a wicked place to go to, especially if u all love watersports! theres so many things i want to do and see everything but unfortunately time is running out fast to see other countries! Definately will get the itchy feets when we come back home!

Off to beautiful islands in the southern thailand and sunbathe with cocktails in our hands, overlooking blue seas! Better stop rubbing in your faces!!

Hey everyone! The speedboat from Luang Prabang was one unique trip, come on, we even shared the boat with a Laos family and their chicken for 7 hours lol!
Chiang Mai's great so far! Screamed my head off jumping off that platform, was wicked!!! Something i am not gg to forget in a hurry, the photos should be good i hope!! Laos was wicked, ranks up there as one of the best countries i have ever been to! Full of activities and something to do all the time! Tmw off to Krabi-finally get a chance to relax for a bit, with sun rays hopefully!

Woooohoooooooooo!!! We've done a bungee jump today! Cant believe we actually pluckered the guts to push ourselves off the platform! Was high on adrenaline for a while after- couldnt stop grinning to myself like a cheshire cat lol!
We're in Chiang Mai- the very north of Thailand. We're off to Krabi- an island in the south of Thailand tomorrow to catch some rays, seriously needing to top up our tan big time after so much rain in Laos!!!

Hey Sophie,what's up? I heard about the JELLYFISH (poor you). I also saw the pic looked way bad !!! Gran said Ali is really scared she also said the bit where you got really scared was when your back started to go numb. I saw a pic of all the bits you had got they didn't look nice at all !!!
