Alas Hyde! I have discovered who HSS is! As he was irate with me for posting my previous message! haha! :) He certainly misses you and certainly is suffering from HSS... !! Becky, the switch on was MI GOD... I couldn't make sense of ANYTHING.. even now they're saying my hearing tests are "so much better than before Martine!" *in shrilly audiologist voice* I do not feel the difference! God I feel like I'm really thick when they tell me "we'll slow the map down so that you get the sound a bit slower so you can make sense of it..." cos I said I couldnt make sense of anything but I was "hearing" stuff.. ! So i've been slowed down now(!).. so everyone, if I make crap jokes and am slow to get the funny stuff! you know why! but.. its certainly different. I'm vowing NOT to lose my cochlear implant, god the amount of times I saw Eoghan n Cait hide from the audiologist (honestly it was like being back at MH n hiding from Ogg/May if you've lost your aid) in Belfast when they came to visit me was funny! Tip; do not lose £4000 worth of equipment! :)

Hey guys!

Been here for two days, having flown from Bali. We heard that there was a plane crash in Indonesia-going from Medan to Jakarta-we had flown that route just a few weeks before!!

We re now in Brinho's native city of Kuala Lumpur, which so far is our favourite city in Asia without a doubt! Been so active here, practically walking around the whole city!! Tonight we re off to the Kuala Lumpur tower to have a very posh and (expensive) meal on the rotating floor-wicked right?! Before setting off on the overnight bus to the Tioman Islands for a few days, wanted to go to Taman Negara but there isn't enough time to get there and back to Singapore in time!!

We are arriving back in the UK on the 19th, for those who want to know. See you all soon, not long left til we re home!! University-arghhhhhhhhhhh!

I'll tell you somthing really cool I can kite surf now,well I can kinda, you see I can fly the kite which is a little difficult for a tot like me. How much wud it be? We are still in Bali, going to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow night to explore Brinho's native city, and then its the rest of Malaysia. At last I have taken the opportunity to post a message - quite overdue I must admit - and sorry! :-/ Life in London after Sheffy has been so crazy, and time has gone off so fast! Been working for an investment bank, (yes, my eyebrow has regrown back in time for my first day - thank god!), football trainings, gym and going out etc! I have completely forgot all about you!!! Lol, nah, of course I haven't forgotten you guys!

I hope you are all well by the way! I am very happy to hear that you are having a fab time! Of course! And you r really enjoying it a lot and you probably are thinking about abandoning UK and live there forever!

You guys are now smokers? With flavoured? You mean like, strawberry? Chocolate? Banana? Etc...I don't blame you...perhas it is all down to stress and pressure of travelling ? Or miss us back home too much!? :-)

I am pretty jealous especially reading your stories of brilliant adventures and these wonderful photos! I certainly hope by the time I sort out my financial difficulties (yes, still the same, to no surprise of you I can assume), I would be away backpacking around the world for a year!

Oi Embles, u cheeky buggar!! 1- we were NOT smoking, it was flavoured cigarettes, Sheffield won't become a smoking house sorry! and "More activities lately", we do activities all the time!!! It was both me and Becks driving in Thailand, and we didn't manage to crash, unlike some?!!! Ahem!!!

We have put more photos on of Laos, and Thailand and Indonesia for all of you to look at-finally!! We re all definitely back on the 19th, and all of us are going to the GB ball, woo! So i think we'll be seeing u all there hopefully!
