Hey Gals and Guys! Lets start off with our journey from Luang Prabang (Laos) to Thailand border.. We decided to get a speedboat as its cheaper than flying and quicker than a slow boat. We spoke to some other backpackers who said the speedboat is very fast and noisy, we were like 'ah its ok'.. when we saw the boat.. burst out laughing as it was nothing like we imagined the speedboat would be! a huge shiny boat.. instead we got a tiny slimline boat with lifejackets and helmets! Boy, its fast! water splashing in our faces for 7hours!! After arriving at the border, we had to get the bus to Chiang Mai.. another 5hours worth of journey! Our first day in Chiang Mai, we decided to go bungee jumping!! woo! I jumped with sophie. Becks with Jess, it was brilliant, screaming your head off and laughing madly at each others faces! Becks, jessie heads went in the water (thank god its wasnt a hard ground!) Sophie and I didnt dip in the water but it was mad! We got free t-shirts and 36 pictures of the jump. We also went to see the Long Necks and Long ears tribes which was interesting. Off to Krabi tomorrow for sunbathing!! about time for us to relax for a bit and do a spot of scuba diving! Ta-ra! mwah xx
