Hey Guys! We re now in Vang Vieng, a small village in the north of Laos, a new country for us all after 2 weeks of Vietnam! It was an eventful journey to get here though, first of all the bus was cancelled cos they were repairing it so we ended up staying in Hanoi another night. Finally we left the following day, got on a VIP bus, but ahem, no way was it VIP! For 22 hours we were sitting on the floor along with vegetables and about 6 big bags of onions! There were about 5 other British ppl so we werent alone, but all the Vietnamese people had seats for themselves at the front. It turned out to be better than we expected, because we all lay down and slept on cushions, played cards etc some of the way! Spent one night in Vientiane, and now we re in Vang Vieng. Tmw we re gg tubing down the river, drinking along the way-should be good!! Then we might do a spot of biking, walking etc before moving onto Luang Prabang to do two full days of white water rafting! We've got about 7 weeks left, don't want our travels to come to an end at all!! :-( Love from us 4!! (Enjoying every moment of it, rain or shine!) Mwah xxx
