Thursday 10 August 2006 - Santa Rosa/San Francisco Airport/LAX Woke up to the news of events from the UK airports. So thought it best to get to the airport early with there being extra security. Monday 7 August 2006 - Santa Rosa, San Francisco Lazy morning catching up on sleep from the trek. Staying in Santa Rosa which is an hour away from the City of San Francisco. Sunday 6 August 2006 - Yosemite National Park to San Francisco After surviving our second night with the bears we were glad to leave them behind. Got to San Francisco, drove through the City passing Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39 before reaching the Golden Gate Bridge. After a little sightseeing the group parted.
