6/30/2021 Arkansas day two. The goats will still not play with me. One or two keep getting out of their pen and they run up to me, but then run away when I bark at them and try to jump on them. I think maybe they don't know how to play. The chickens are a mystery. I don't know what to think of them. There's a big noisy one that starts his racket about 4 am. I was not pleased. 6/29/2021 Well, it turns out Memphis BBQ is pretty darn good. Snack Guy kept going on and on about dry rub ribs until I stopped listening. But I thoroughly enjoyed the drops of his sandwich he shared with me. Memphis was sobering, then yummy, then wild and scary, then we left. Crossed a huge river, and like that, we were in Arkansas. 6/27/2021 Well today left me tired, as you can see in my picture. Snack Guy got up early and pushed us all to do our business and eat with very little time for laying around, which he's usually good at. It wasn't all bad though. Well, we made it to Nashville, the home of country music. Got off about an hour late, which was better than we expected. Got caught up into some traffic before hitting Asheville, NC so we ventured back roads through the Pisgah National Forest. A beautiful drive, but it put us behind another two hours.
