After spending the last month in Brisbane with Jez & Kirsty we came down to Melbourne at the weekend. God what a shock to the system! Leaving 28 degrees & sunshine to come to 8 degrees and rain, it was like arriving in Manchester!

Had a great time in Brisbane with Jez & Kirst, learning the art of sign writing and making the most of the weekends going up & down the coast. Thank you so much guys for making us so welcome and putting up with us for a month. You have opened my eyes to a wealth of new things, Lemmington cake, Cherry Ripes, Pokies, Keano,barefoot bowls, and a whole new language ( Cracking the s***s will stay with me forever!) We will miss you lots.

So, down to earth with a bump now as its time to find some work for a while. Have spent the last few days searching for jobs and going to interviews in the city, fingers crossed we will get something soon. Aunty Eileen & Uncle Kevin are making us most welcome here in Lilydale and had dinner on sunday with the rest of the family. Meeting 5 second cousins for the first time all under 7 yrs old with one more due in a couple of months was a bit of a shock to the system and the ear drums but nice to be surrounded by family again.
