After a couple of hours getting used to the French roads we reached our first destination which was the British memorial at vis en artois. My great great uncle Joe is buried here having made it nearly through the entire war as a bomb disposal but sadly died a few weeks before the end of the war. Also by coincidence Tulas great grandfather is buried here so we left a message in the guest book for both familes after paying our respects. The weather started to change for the worse so we left and headed a further 69 km south.
