During my year in the states I went to Boston a couple of times first time was with my parents and sisters and the second time was when Matt came to visit me.

We went to stay at Boston College with my friend Melissa who I worked with at the country club, she was a student at the university. We were staying in the college halls of residence at her boyfriends flat which was really nice and modern.

During our time in Boston we headed out to a few college parties which was interesting because you see them in the movies and you wondered what it is all about, well it pretty much is like what you see on the tv, there is a keg full of beer and the parties are in student houses.

One of the parties we went to was broken up by the police and all the underage people ran away whilst the police did an ID check on everyone at the party.

Boston itself is a very nice and colonial city, it was one of my favourite cities in the states. Going during the winter was also a great time of year to go to Boston, the north east of America at that time of year is lovely.
