2/1/10 - day 24.

AWFUL nights sleep thanks to the **** in the bed next to mine snoring his head off (at one point i thought literally) all night long!!! im pretty sure it was the loudest ive ever experienced. and the most relentless. woke up at 1am, 3am, 5am and half 6 because of him. to quote john gregory when discussing dwight yorke's request to join man utd - "i think if i'd have had a gun with me and the time i would have shot him".

so when i got up at 10am, i was knackered. spent more time in the morning looking into nicaragua. about half 1, me carl and nathan went into the city to get some lunch. went to a soda nathan recommended where i had rice and beef served to me by a girl who couldnt have been more than about 8 yrs old.

on the way back, i noticed how much junk people were trying to sell on the streets, just sitting on the pavements. saw one guy with a hat and a broken clock, another with a doll, a toy car and a cup (which he was enthusiastically demonstrating how well one fits into the other), and a woman with a trolley full of bananas. i might think twice before i complain about my next job!

got back to the hostal about 4pm where i checked the days football scores and did some more lounging about and reading.

went with nathan and carl to the supermarket to get dinner that evening, and got to bed about 10pm.
