11th June

Left Manley and headed North over the Brisbane river and the Houghton highway to Redcliffe and Scarborough Beach Resort to finish our stay in Australia. The area is littered with UK sea side names Brighton and Margate amongst them. Spent the rest of the day chiling by the pool well catching the ray to top up the tan. In the evening watched the "Footy" as it was such a big thing the Maroons won 30-0.

12th

Had a look around the Redcliffe area. Then spent a couple of hours fishing from the old Houghton Highway Bridge with no luck on my part, Rob had a few small sand whitings. Then back to the pool and a quick dip before dinner.

Friday 13th

Travelled into Brisbane for the day driving to sandgate then getting the train in which is far cheaper than car parks in Brisbane. Visited the shopping area in Queens Street Mall. Then had a trip on the river as the train ticket allows you to do this. Back to Scarborough for a Barbie.

14th last day!!!

Spent the day by the pool sunbathing. Then pack bags ready for the off tomorrow. Went out to Morgans Fish resturant near the marina. Ready for the trip to Hong Kong!!!!
