I did sleep in all the way til 6:40 this morning but stayed in bed until about 7:20 when I got up and went out to read on the verandah. Ahead of the ship it was dark and cloudy and I kept hearing something that sounded like thunder. Then, out of the corner of my eye I caught a flash so I stood up and watched a lightning storm. We were headed straight into a wall of rain. It was a strange to be sailing right into the storm. It started to mist a little and I decided to go up on deck and see what it looked like from up there. By the time I got up on deck it was a torrential downpour. There was so much rain that there was waves of water sloshing back and forth on the deck. I only rained about 20 minutes and then I was able to go back out on our verandah and read until 9:30 when I had to shower to go to pick up our special collector pins. Everyone was still in bed when I left at 10:00. At UpBeat I found out that I was able to purchase two complete sets of pins but that our Port Canaveral Pin won't be available until the night we are at Castaway Cay because they are still in Florida. The Wonder will be delivering them to Castaway Cay and we will pick them up there. I then went to book a return cruise so that we could get the discount and onboard credit for our next Disney Cruise. By the time I got back to the room the girls were awake but not ready to go. They got ready and we went to brunch in Lumiere's. Some of us had breakfast, some lunch and others both. After breakfast we went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian in the Buena Vista Theater. Right after the movie it was time for Nikki to go on our tour of the galley and Regan and Kelsie went to do their thing. The galley tour was interesting as usual. It was interesting to learn that all food waste is ground up to a specified size and then dumped into the water. We also learned that one of the four pastry kitchens on the ship runs 24 hours a day while the others only operates 23 hours. Right after the galley tour it was time to go to our DVC member mixer. We had hors d'ouevres and drinks and played a game. Then it was time to get ready for dinner. Before dinner we had our photo taken with Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy and Goofy and Max. Then it was time for dinner in Lumiere's. Tonight was the rotational dinner with French cuisine served. Of course, we ordered escargot to share. After dinner we went to watch Karaoke and then Kelsie went to Ocean Quest for a spin art activity while Regan, Nikki and I walked around the Promenade deck. There was a lightning storm off the port side of the ship and we watched it for a while. The show tonight was a hypnotist named Ricky Kalman. None of us were impressed by the show. Afterwards Kelsie grabbed some fries, and got ready for bed. Regan when to chill in the Stack and the old folks got ready for bed. Tomorrow is another at sea day.
