Its 18:30 here now. We've been in bern for a few hours now, just had lunch and wandered around the shops. Its everything we expected it to be, a peaceful town with lots of shops and lots of chocolate. Still to seet he bears though. I'm ecstatic about the bear park!! Haven't bought anything yet, probably going to do the shopping part tomorrow.

At the hostel, theres no internet at all, i managed to check my emails on an ipad at an apple store, but didnt want to linger about too much and appear obvious that i was there just to use the internet! The room is very basic but clean. The toilets and showers are mediocre, although i preffered everything in the last hostel. The view from our room however is astonishing (as shown on my blog cover) it looks straight down a road filled with cafes and small antique stores etc.

Another problem however, is that neither of us have the right plugs for this place! All the sockets require three rounded pronged plugs! So that means no ipod or iphone for me...

The scenery has been incredible, everything here is nice to look at everything is clean and all public transport is electrically operated. Its just one of those places you have to see for yourself. They speak german here and most people are generally pleasant.

Going to have a wee break before i find something for dinner.
