We left Christchurch around 8am in the morning and had a 4 hour bus journey to Kaikoura luckily it was along the coast line so it was a beautiful drive. We stopped twice on the way there as we spotted a Seal colony and a few Dusky Dolphins doing some tricks which were nice to see. Back in Christchurch, much to our amusement as the pair of us are not too fussed on the place. However, we did have to retrace our steps from a fortnight ago as we had lost all our photos of the place when we lost a CD in Queenstown. Bumped into one of the boys from our bus down the west coast so had a catch up with him. We didn?t do much at all as we had seen it all before. We just looked forward to our next stop at Kaikoura.

We had to get up at 6am for our trip to Milford Sound. I had had a terrible night sleep thanks to my cold and wasn?t feeling particularly enthusiastic about our 5 coach journey. We got to Queenstown in the afternoon after stopping at the Kawarau Bungy (neither of us decided to jump though) on the way into town.
