DAY TWO- Our second day was all about Aboriginal Culture & Rock Art. We started at 'Ubirr' where our guide showed us loads of paintings and explained them all. I can't even begin to go into detail but it's fascinating. You'll just have to wait till I get home and I can bore you! We walked to the top of the lookout which gave us a great view of the varying landscape. I could have done with on hour up there to take it all in. Wow! That afternoon we saw some more art at 'Nourlangie Rock' where we sat picking the brains of our tour guides. They new so much we were there for hours! I am totally bewildered by the amount of rain they must get in the wet season! A large amount of the land and its buildings are flooded metres and metres under water. You can see grass and soil deposits left in the branches of the trees! Crazy!
