Day 26 ... highlights spending the day @ the beach

... "Blog" news is now going to be quite sparse, at this point in our journey we are in total relaxation mode and literally just going to and from the beach.

... Beanie and I had an awesome sleep and took our time this morning - we got to the Croisette around 11h30 and set-up close to the water:

• ... together we built a sand fortress at the edge of our beach blanket
• ... ended up buying Sabine a hat because the sun was blazing
• ... read my book
• ... watched Bean collect rocks to add to the fortress and she ended finding a most interesting see-through rock, initially I though it was glass but I think it is indeed some sort of rock-type sustance based on the thickness and shape ... very cool
• ... actually did some suntanning [which is rare for me] and had a nap on the beach while Beanie did some pages from her Word Search book
• ... around 18h00 we went for a quick supper and took the bus back to our hotel ...

Today's Photo: Bean in her new hat on the beach ... we washed the apple in the bay's salty water and it had an interesting combination of salt water / sweet apple taste
