While this is not my first visit with my friends Nancy & Tom Feinthel in the USA I am still fancinated by the variety and types of home we pass in what has become a tradition of walking a dog around the neighbourhood.this time around it is a visiting dog called Hero his name comes from his recovery from what was given as a fatal disease. He loves 24/7 company and why only a visitor he is part of the family and even understands the Australian accent as witnessed while being dog sat, we drove pass and I called out and he wanted to come over,he like to check out my bedroom of a morning to see that I am awake and all is good. He has taken us past he other career's home and immediately walked up to the door and wanted to visit, even the owners Dr's premises he fronted up to as we walked past.
I have visited Nancy since 1984 and really enjoy the various activities that we engage in from visiting the antique malls, to shopping at Wholefoods (organic and much of the food is ready to eat upon purchase),to popcorn of a Tuesday night, outdoor music concerns and the never ending variety of shopping experiences as they go about their daily routines.
I have complied a series of photos under the same name that show a small portion of typical homes in this part of St Paul, most are three or four stories one being the basement. the majority also have a backyard and garages to park vehicles in. However there are large say up to 5 story aparment blocks most of which are old and lack car parking.

Greglane Love the different colour schemes of the houses.
Laura Hi Christopher, there is on spare in the individual design in these houses and it is obvious there is a loss of character on out modern design.... It takes a good old Dog to light up our life.... simple...
