So the end of my travels. As they say in the US it has been truly awesome. The most challenging experience was when I arrived at the orphanage. I wondered what I had come to. There was also an amazing spiritual challenge which I will, speak of when I get home. The whole experience here has been changing and hopefully I go home a more educated person. These later days have been tough being away from those you love but it has been great being able to keep in touch...

Mark and I both ready for home. Have had a great time and spent today looking at the amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge . We were due to meet the Wilsons but something happened and it didn't work out which was a pity. Not looking forward to the flight home but there's no gain with no pain. Went to the morning service at redding. Bill Johnson led the service and had a visiting speaker who spoke on the prodigal . Again very challenging. Have now driven south and stopping off for the night before heading into SF tomorrow. We are hoping to meet the Wilson 's for dinner . Ready for home. Been away too long.

Had a day in San Fransisco before heading up to Redding. Went to Alcatraz and walked miles . Quote of the day came from Mark " this place is really hilly isn't it "!!!! Had a great evening with my pen friend and her husband. Just like old times. Left there his morning and spent the afternoon in SF. Shopping and visiting Fishermans wharf. Lo and behold a certain young Mr Paddon arrived early. The journey to the air port was a case of 5 lanes nose to tail traffic. Mark and I went to the wharf for something to eat. Alcatraz tomorrow before heading up to Bethel church on Friday.
