Every trip for me begins with an anticipation. An expectation that draws inspiration from the image and circumstances of a trip conjured entirely by my imagination. This trip started in wee hours of the morning of 11th december. Not nearly as awake as I would have liked to be following the late night full dress rehearsals, the playhouse performance, the last minute pop in at the sister's place for Christmas decos and the eleventh hour at packing for the trip, I sat half awake in the car with my parents that morning. Everybody else arrived before I did, and on receiving Brandon's phone call of "where are you?", I innocently replied, "why you told me to leave my house at 6am didn't you?", right before walking into the airport. As we checked in our luggage, the parents began socializing and exchanging travel tips. The small talk among the group began as well. Apart from Brandon, I didn't really know the group that I was travelling with too well. Nanthini hardly knew any of us. Her openness to travelling with a new group and making friends certainly is admirable. Stories came out of the mishaps during her past travels, at which point Brandon wished that his trips would be a little more exciting. Little did any one know. Adventures always come unannounced.
