Our last stay at a caravan park on this trip was over. Tonight will be back home in our own beds. As awesome as being on the road has been, we are all looking forward to the space and comforts of home.
Leaving the park we headed into Albury to catch up with Georgia. Georgia is the daughter of close friends of ours from Edenhope. She has been studying in Albury for the last couple of years now. It was great to see her and catch up over a coffee.
It was then time to hit the road and head home. The rain was patchy the weather cold. It was a stark reminder that the magnificent weather we had enjoyed over the last seven or eight weeks was over.
We got home around 5:00pm and were warmly greated by neighbours Frank and Anita. Link was excited to see us and I was very happy to see him too. Scooter, the now 18 year old cat welcomed us with his usual meows. We are very thankful to our friend Kylie for house sitting and looking after Link and Scooter.
The next two days will be unpacking, cleaning the caravan and car. We then set off to Tasmania via boat for four days.
