Wandered around the cultural area of town. Petrol here is 2.2 ringgit per litre which is about $0.71 CAD, compared to Singapore where it was $2.48. At the border crossing into Malaysia there were signs stating that you had to top up before leaving Singapore. It's actually a criminal offence to go across the border and buy cheap gas in Malaysia. We saw monkeys around the bird park but did not go into the bird park. Had dinner again in Brookfields " Little India ...

Spent the last few days wandering around Kuala Lumpur. Visited the twin towers, stainless steel beauties. This place is a shopping mall spectacle with high end stores everywhere. Street food is pretty good, definitely cheap, there are Starbucks everywhere. We have been collecting cards and cups for Connie. There has been at least one torrential downpour every day. Having a green tea in Starbucks right now.

Ok this is a world heritage site and lots to see, we stayed close to the river and walked it's banks every day. We saw three large water monitor lizards swimming in the river. The smallest was more then a meter long. We are. One restaurant along the river one evening and ate street food from vendors almost exclusively. Yum. They had bikes with lights and music for short "taxi" rides all about. Also had a two hour Thai massage for 60 ringgits or about $18 CAD.
