If I wasn't having such an amazing time at the moment I'd want to kill you! I am really really jealous of all your fun and frolics, you sound like a different person-the Reiko of 59 Hawthorn Terrace, and I like it! I am also doing a spectacular impression of Jane at 59 Hawthorn terrace but those stories are not for this message board!
So I finally beaten Alix into submission-we are moving to Putney! HURRAH HURRAH HURRAH! In theory said move is taking place this time next week but we haven't signed our lives away yet so we shall see. Its going to be so great living so close to the rowing club and to work-beats the hour+ journey I'm used to making every day!
It also means we will be living pretty near to each other-hurrah for dinner parties and mucho mucho wine!
I miss you lots Miss Bridge, forgotten what a good influence you are on me-I'm very much in need of a Reiko style reality check-can't wait for you to be back in Blighty.
Loadsa and loads and loads of love

Just tried catching up on your journal but due to the fact i'm an utter retard i couldn't read it any sort of sensible, chronological order so gave up and thought i'd pester you directly instead. From what i did pick up though it sounds like you're having an awesome time and i'm particularly jealous as i'm spending my days at the moment working for my dearest mama at CLC sorting out endless book cupboards and generally getting lost in the myriad of corridors which seem to never lead anywhere useful. fun fun fun.
No longer living in staines/uxbridge/s***hole land but gonna try and get a place in ealing/hammersmith/shepherds bush with a mate. more expensive but much nicer and more convenient for the bright lights and big city. Unfortuneately for you it means you'll have to put up with entertaining me when i'm bored.
Just realised how long this is and, in hindsight, should have put it in an email as it is of no real interest to anyone else or even, i suspect, you.....
look after yourself,
love

Sorry I have been rubbish at getting in contact recently, FINALLY managed to get myself on a plane and out of this country, if only for a week in Croatia! Jo and I had a mini-adventure of our own, involving drunk Irish boys, bruised bodies and overemphatic hand gestures by means of communication - will tell all in an email soon! Got told matter-of-factly when i got back to work that my tan made me look like a peanut. Still unsure if this is a compliment..
Inca trail sounds like an absolute ball (altitude sickness? why the hell not!) mental image for you: me squirming at the thought of eating whole roasted guinea pig. Bleurgh!
Lots of sloppy ones xoxox

Hi Reix,
I'm SO BORED at work its untrue! Hate being inside and working in Wimbledon while the tennis is on, so close yet soooooo far! I hope you got my mammoth e-mail, as you can see things have been beyond crazy for me this last couple of weeks! I never thought I'd have a time like university again where every second of the day was a crazy whirlwind but I have!
Can't remember if I told you but I went to see Take That with Charl on saturday night, they were AMAZING! You would have loved it, I laughed, I cried (ahem!) and got extremely hysterical, it was just like being 14 again! When they sang Never Forget and 70,000 people were doing the actions I thought I was going to die of fun-an experience not to be missed!
Its Henley Royal this weekend so I've dusted off my pashmina (distinct lack of use since leaving Durham) and I'm ready to hit the enclosures! Hopefully I can remember how to say ya alot and talk about Mummy and Daddy! Seriously though, Henley combines my three favourite things in the world: rowing, drinking, and men in lycra-HURRAY!
Loads of lycra covered love

Hey reixy-b!
Sorry I have only just discovered this which is very crap of me seems as all I do is sit behind a desk all day! Sounds like your having a fantastic time and you'll have to tell us more of the 'in depth' stories once you get back! Off to write you an email updating you on my, in comparison, very boring life now! Just got a house though and will have a big bar-b-q when you get back and everyone will have to come visit Cambridge!
