Hello!

So I got to the beach straight away from Bagan. Overnight bus, then 4ish hours to Pathein and from Pathein a one-and-a-half hour motorbike ride to the beach. I was dead tired after that journey but for resting this beach is an ideal spot.

When I got to my room and decided to take a nap, I had a huge spider in my room almost above my head. It haunted me for the first day but I managed to get rid of it the next morning.

The beach it self was really nice, clean long white beach with little to none people on it. Nobody was trying to sell anything except two local ladies selling dried fish but you usually saw them once or twice a day and they left when you told them "No thanks".

There wasn't much else to do than lie on the beach by day and drink some Mandalay rum in the evenings. I had a lot of fun there eventhough I was surrounded by Germans, Belgians and Dutch people.
