This is our last morning in Prague and after a very adventuresome, tiring day yesterday we're looking forward to a restful day on the bus to Budapest Two interesting things about our bathroom here - the toilet has full and half flush and there's a button to push if you want the T V sound to follow you in there!

St, Vitus, Cathedral - 3 rd largest in Europe

Keeping my fingers crossed I can get this uploaded... St Vitus is a magnificent cathedral- over 400 yards (4football fields) long. Begun in 1344 and completed in 1929 for the 1,000 anniversary of St Wenceslas ( of the Christmas carol) death. The only thing I knew about St Vitus was the St Vitus dance. When I asked, our guide told me that he lived in the 4 th century and was enthusiastic about converting the Czechs to Christianity. His attempts weren't welcome ...

Began the morning visiting the Prague Castle( pictured). The spires behind are from St Vitus Cathedral, the third largest church in Europe. We were each given ear phones and could hear everything our guide said even if we wandered away from the group. What a joy not to have to stay in one spot to try to hear!
