After the paprika museum we visited this equestrian center in Kalocsa, Hungary. This man is driving 10 horses and standing with one foot on each of the last two horses! Amazing! There were a half dozen riders who made music with their whips and had trained their horses to sit like a dog and even lie down on command. We got to go for a horse drawn wagon ride. This picture is taken in a paprika museum. We were told how the red peppers were brought from Mexico. It wasn't until there was a famine and someone thought to grind up the dried peppers, that paprika became available - a very nice surprise!. It is very healthful and is used in many Hungarian dishes.

The Germans destroyed them all as they were leaving to hinder the approaching Russians. Budapest has the second largest synagogue n Europe.
