Hello from Western Australia (not Tasmania!...the map is being random and I cant change it!!)
Hope alls well and thanks very much for your messages.
Can't believe Xmas is only a couple of weeks away - it was 38 degrees here today...the christmas lights are up and everyone is wondering around in board shorts!!
Had a fab time in Western Australia...been on a couple of roadtrips which were awesome (swimming with a massive manta ray being one of the highlights) ...have also been checking out a couple of vineyards!!
Catching the train to Sydney tomorrow...which will take 3 days! There are 4 of us from the hostel doing the journey so we have stocked up on snacks and am aiming to be a card shark by the end of the journey!...apparently we pass through some crazy towns along the way with populations of approx. 4 people...hmmm 'Deliverence' springs to mind!
Got some journal entries to add with amusing roadtrip stories and lots of photos to upload (once I can find a pc fast enough!)
Take Care
Lots of love

Hi lovely: Very curious as to why the map on the homepage puts you in Tasmania. Are you in search of the Tasmanian Devil? Get in touch when you get to Sydney and let me know if you want Coral's brother's number re work (music biz).
Love you

Hey Big G (of the Big Island),
Just read your latest instalment - sounds crazy! Crashing waves, wild monkeys, Komodo Dragons! Watch out for the Polar Bears!!
All good in sunny London. New job is seriously busy, but pretty good - aside from the constant trekking between Farringdon, Knightsbridge and Canary Wharf!
So are you in Perth for a while now? Do you have a mobile? And when do you move east?

Hi sweetie
Have been keeping up with your exploits - glad to hear you're having such a good time! Me and Jake have just got back from a long weekend in gay Paris, which was fantastic (though not quite as adventurous as what you've been up to).
I don't know if you're able to check your emails that often, but I've emailed you my sister's details (which I think I forgot to do before) in case you need a bed or tour guide whilst you're in Perth. And don't forget to look out for Jake's cousin Alana Slater - I think she's quite famous in Perth gymnastic circles!
Stay safe, lots of Lots, Kathryn and Jake

Hi Katie-May,
Your journey just seems to get better & better and so do the dishy travelling buddies!!! Have you bumped into three guys from Huddersfield yet called Tom, Marcus and Kirk? They should be in Oz now (I know it's a big country but you never know).
Keep enjoying every moment.
Take care,
Tracy x

hi!! So you have finally landed in Aus?! Bet it feels wierd to be in civilization again! Your antics sound amazing and I am very jealous! So much so that I am booking a holiday to the Dominican Rebublic this week! yes I know it is full of lazy fat americans cashing in on the All Inclusive, but there is something just a little bit appealing about cocktails on tap and lots of people to take the p** out off whilst lazing on the beach! You know what I mean - constant entertainment..Just had a wekend in Rome and predictably the only question that was popped was 'whos round is it?'. I should know him by now... : )

Stewth! G'day Sports!!!!
It's time to crack open a tinnie and throw another shrimp on the barbie
Arrived in Perth on Tuesday and so far it's Kylie-tastic!!
Off to the hostel bbq in a mo...living the dream!
Hope alls well at home
Much love

Hi babe: Don't forget that somewhere in the dark and distant past, the Hadley side of the family went from Australia to South Africa, from whence Bunter's father came to the UK to fight in World War 1. Well, that is what I have been told anyway. So if some Aussie b'tard gives you flack about being a Pom, let them know you are some small fraction Australian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you and not too many tinnies......
