Colleen & Tom's Explorations
Well, when we woke up today the scene was remarkably similar to the Inside Passage - just different trees, no ice and warmer temperatures. It was incredibly tranquil.
After breakfast we went to the library and checked on our emails, then we went to another talk by the visiting author - about luxury liners. This was followed by trivia and lunch.
This afternoon tom went to a class on digital photography while I went to a classical concert by 3 girls from the Ukraine - 2 on violin and 1 on piano.
By the end of all this we were approaching Quebec. We had lots of small pleasure craft around us, seaplanes and helicopters. As we came in we could see crowds and crowds of people, and the flashes from their cameras going off everywhere - this was the first time the largest ship in the world had come to a Canadian port.
We had large meals during the day because we had to miss dinner to go on our ghost tour of Quebec's old city. The tour was very entertaining, though not at all scary. Our guide was a uni student who was amazed at the amount of traffic.
