After docking at Dubrovnik we disembarked and then were driven through a chain of villages in the Konavle Valley, to the small village of Poljica. Venice was shrouded with fog as we waited our turn to enter the sheltered waters. We had a picturesque drive through the city starting off by passing the Valletta fortifications via Fort St Elmo to the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk, where we saw the local fishermen at work.
