Colleen & Tom's Explorations
After breakfast I took myself off to the spa for my massage. I got there 20 minutes early, was put in the waiting room with a form to fill out and then forgotten about. Three other ladies came in for an information session with an acupuncturist and when he came in at 9.30 and asked if I was there for the talk, I said no, I'm still waiting for my 9.15 massage. He went and found my masseuse who had been ringing our cabin looking for me, no-one had let her know I was there! She was very apologetic. Anyway, the massage was lovely, and I made an appointment for another one next week. When Tom returned from his painting class we went down to the promenade cafe for lunch where we had a roll with meat and cheese on it, and then we went upstairs to the bar with the good view to sit and read with a cocktail. We returned to the dining room for dinner - seafood salad entree was just lovely, with mussels, scallops and prawns, but the chicken in a herb coating could've been a less tasty version of KFC. At 9.30pm we went down to the theatre to ensure good seats for the extra Tom Burlinson show at 10pm, but tonight's normal show was still on, and we were glad we'd not gone to that - a juggling type of person who caught balls in his mouth. We sat through the last five minutes of his show and then watched as the seats refilled. Tom Burlinson sings Frank Sinatra so well, you could close your eyes and swear it was Frank. I guess that's why Frank's daughter chose him to play Frank in a movie about him.
