The long ride home. First a taxi to the airport, the flight home (6 ½ hours), and then the 4 hour drive from New York to Georgetown culminating a wonderful visit of Ireland and Scotland.Then on to Delmar.

My grandson graduated from Delmar High School on Friday and thanks to the graciousness oftwo of my fellow travelers, their mother and future mother-in-law who picked them up, took me to the school, getting me there in time for me to see him receive his diploma.I was so happy I could make this once in a life time event - such a handsome young man with a bright future ahead of him.

SUMMATION

Heather Sutherland, the instructor in Scotland and Heather Madden, Del Tech Instructor together did an excellent job planning this trip.It was well organized and very well structured.The assignments before we took the trip were most beneficial by allowing the students to better understand the history and daily life before we arrived.Ms. Madden was very attentive to ensuring that the students had the necessary information at all times.Ms. Sutherland accommodated all requests and was most helpful.Both need a "kudo" from the college administration.
