After a night bus and 2 more buses we arrived in the beach town of Mancora, and it felt good to smell the sea air. Nice to take a day bus for a change. Arrived in Huaraz in the afternoon to the pissing down rain, not so good when we're planning on a 4 day trek. Arrived in cuzco at 5am, so headed to a hotel with the costa rica boys, which ended up being a real nice one. After showers etc had a look round the town and sorted out a machupicchu trek. Since us and the Costa Ricas (Carlos, Paulo, & Mosqui) were heading the same way; we shared a taxi across the boarder from chile to Tacna (peru).
