So after trying to get off at a random town and finding that there was no camp ground, the bus driver dropped at as Canazei. Found a campground close to town and set up for a couple of days. We were so stoked we made it to the north end of Lake Garda, as it was completly different to the bottom end. A very popular windsurf spot with the cliffs funneling the wind. We have never seen so many windsurfers in one spot and spent the afternoon watching them. That night we experienced another crazy storm in our tent. Decided to head to Lake Garda so got on a train to the bottom end of the lake, which wasn´t quite what we expected. Could´nt believe the price of the campgrounds, they were asking for 40 euros for the night. Thanks to Marks patience we kept walking and eventually came across one for 21 euros. Got an early train to Venice the next morning, and treated ourselves to a hotel room for the night on the island. Really pretty city and we learnt that the best way to really enjoy the hustle and bustle is to (a) don´t have a map, as you spend all day trying to figure out where you are as we saw most other people doing, just enjoy getting lost; and (b) drink a bottle of wine!
