It was then goodbye to zambia and onto Botswana. Truck definatly felt empty without the rest of the group, but at the same time we had a few big drive days to come so it will be nice to spread out a bit.

Got pulled over by some cops just before the boarder saying our insurance papers were wrong, basically trying to scam some money, which is funny because all around there are posters which advertise "say no to corruption". Our driver told them to "f" off and drove away, so all was sweet.

Arrived at the campsite in the early afternoon and had a couple of hours to chill out by the pool, which was nice as it was soooo hot. We then had an evening game cruise along the chobe river. Took a chilly bin on with all the left over bits of booze from the truck for a few drinks. We got to see quite a few animals along the river edge and the elephants here were huge. Saw a nice sunset and didn´t arrive back to the campsite till dark, where we had a good meat kebab feed.
