Hervey bay was our next joruney stop Split into groups bought supplies from the shop, Our group seemed ok not as good as whitsun Two canadian girls and scouse craig who seemed fun! Bud a rude german couple we did not like much Decided with them we would not keep in touch! We all got together and put in some money, And hired a four by four which was funny! PA and hodge drove it most of the way Over beaches and dirttracks around Hervey bay Frazer Island was beautiful to see Although lots of wildlife were romaing for free! Got scared by a dingo so lobbed under cover Cowered in the tent holding on to each other Lake Mackenzie was gorgous wanted to stay forever But had to move on and we all stay together! Cooked BBQ at evenings on the campsite Then was aloof to the gang and had an early night, Although it was fun two nights was enough, We were covered in sand feeling tired and rough, It was nice to get back and then rest for a while, And next day start our new journey again with a smile!
