Arrived in Cairns on Wednesday, Found a lovely place to stay, Cairns city backpackers with hammocks and pool, So sunbathed, got hot and jumped into get cool, Explored the town and we found a lagoon, The water was great we were over the moon! Bought some new flipflops and bikins too, Then got free dinner from the hostel crew! Then we got drunk as the beer was cheap, And danced on the tables and fell in a heap! Looked for a dominos but ovens weren't on, So retired to bed and switched on the air con!
