So Copenhagen....my favorite of the Scandinavian cities by far...I enjoyed the people and the atmosphere greatly. It was very diverse, lots of interesting people, and lots of diverse architecture. It was becoming apparent by this time that in countries that are not nearly as democratic as our dear US of A there seems to be a greater degree of diversification of architecture...buildings are not only more innovative and "crazy" but there are more of them and it seems easier to get things built.
Some notable things from copenhagen...the massive usage of bicycles (they were EVERYwhere!), BIG architecture firm, sneaking pictures of the Jewish Museum...other things to remember: people that you meet in Hostels (crazy Icelandic girls, "Jesus"....) the wild night in Aarhus (don't dance with or give hot candle wax to certain people when they are wasted beyond reason...), and the long, unexpected adventure of riding a bike halfway across copenhagen at three in the morning after a night of euro-clubbing....
copenhagen was a great time, and was a fabulous end to a three week tour of Scandinavia...and thus we parted ways with our first professor Mark ("that's hot", "I'm Sooo not about that!", etc...) and the last of our cut-n-paste extravaganzas....and off to Paris again!
