Oh England came so close to grabbing the gold in the rugby, nevermind.. We did manage to beat the Australians at something! Great atmosphere around the city, totally sums up my trip over here. They've left nothing out with the whole festival, its party time all the time! Checking out the track and field tomorrow at the MCG!

Just seen the games opening ceremony. Awsome, was great fun, the atmosphere around the city is really good. Such a relaxed but well organised opening, with the river looking cool with floating fish. Great to be back here, def the best city in Aus I think. Looking forward to checking out some of the actual game events.

1st stop here in Melbourne. Just a bit of chill out time before heading along the ocean road. Nice city, plenty of character.. Shame to leave NZ, but I love Oz too!! Met up with a few guys both Ive met from NZ and previous in Aus. This city is seriously getting ready for the commonwealth games.. Should be fun to be back here!!
