Port Douglas is a smallish fishing village, with plenty of oportunities to get out and about. Have made it up to Cape Tribulation, Mossman Gorge etc, which is about as far North as Im gonna go for now. Four mile beach here is good, but again a little too hot to sit out there for long without getting to the shade. Hostel is again good, altho a little more expensive, its called Parrotfish!
