Well my plan to work as a volunteer Nurse in Nepal is becoming real. Every thing appears to be inplace (a plan that has now been almost 2 years). I'm extremely disappointed with recent news from OHI with having to cancel the Nepal medical teams. The recent elected Nepal government and Nepal ministry of health have decided to stop all foreign medical teams working in their country due to reasons that are very questionable and refuted by OHI. So with no time to renegotiated cancellation was unfortunately their only option. So for me this means my plans are on hold until new plans can be put in place by OH...

So I have another opportunity to activate my favourite blog site again. Rob and I are off to Thailand for a short relaxing break and to celebrate a small milestone birthday. So in four weeks we will be jetting off to Bangkok & Phuket for a few days. Nana Norma is coming to look after Liam and the pets, and Nic, well hopefully he can take care of himself. I haven't given the holiday much thought yet so as it gets closer the excitement will build.
