OMG Venice is amazing. It had been described to me as "having a surprise around every corner" and it is very accurate. Buildings are tall, alley ways narrow with many corners, it is like walking through a maze. Day one we caught a ferry along the grand canal, great way to view Venice, and hopped off at San Marco.
