Round the world in 365 days
Kuala Lumpur is an amazing place to visit, you should definitely all go!!
We arrived from the Cameron Highlands mid-morning and were dropped off in the Chinatown area. We set out in search of some accommodation and ended up in a nice little place called Monkee Inn (the monkee was called Frank!).
We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of Kuala Lumpur, it is a city of diversity, shopping, culture and much much more, love, love, loved it.
The first day we set out in search to buy Dave a new iphone. I didn't have to have my arm twisted when shopping is on the agenda.

Helen To travel from Singapore to KL by bus would take you axrpopimately 5 6 hours. Bus tickets can be bought at any travel agencies at Golden Mile complex in Beach Road. Price range from about S$30 and above for one way ticket. But to travel from KL to BKK by bus would most likely take about 2 days plus. Bus would take about 1 day to reach Hatyai (southern thailand), and to travel up to BKK i believe would need another 1 day. And all that excludes time to stop over. And Yes, fly by budget air would save you time and effort.
Yunita Flying time to Malaysia is approximately 4 hours. As a Philippine posrpast holder, we're not required to apply for visa prior to arrival to any South East Asian countries (provided they're an ASEAN member). We get a visa upon arrival and can stay for as long as we're allowed (varies by country)
Rocky Excellent article, very inrsteeting. I like how you take the fear out of travelling alone and make it sound inrsteeting and exciting.
