hello!

made it to laos and am in luang probang, quite a big town i think but have only just got here a few hours ago so dont really knowmuch yet!aprt form the pic is the food market down the street where im going to get dinner am starving!

the boat trip was an interetsing experience, the boat itself was fine the views where amasing (all river and mountains) but the people where abit much as id pretty much gatecrashed a package tour from chaing mai so did meet lots of people but they where mostly too full on, loud, over confident cos in big groups and didnt really have the same reasons for being here so was pleased to be off the boat after 2 days of this. some really spolit english girls who where really anoyying!!!plus the whole thing at the over night stop was a massive rip off with lots of laos people lying about stuff amd tryoing to sell you stuff every 5 seconds so was just abit hetic. mostly the place iv been to are not like this poepl arent in your face all the time is fairly relaxed, so not the best introduction to laos!so wasnt a very nice feeling around. will defo try to avoid a trip like that in the future. waspleased to get to the guest house whcih is really nice and the people who work there also seem really nice so much more relaxed now!

goinmg to stay here quite a few days i hope as done too much moving around for my liking in the last week or so!going to hire a bicycle tomo to explore around.

MUM!!!- dont panic because neither of my phones work hgere have no network so cant send or recieve messages but going to buy a laos sim card tomo so maybe will be able to text from that. will have to see. but am fine! theres lots of internet here but not so many places have skype but this place im in now does so can call.

right off to get some laos food!!!
