Jakarta the capital of Indonesia, arriving late at the airport we took a taxi to our hotel. Driving through the city I had under estimated how developed the area actually was. The skyline lit up with skyscrapers and lights. It was looking really promising. Then the light of the morning came. It's a concrete jungle that you either love or hate. We found it a hard place to love and we're city folk. The traffic is intense and it's a rare thing to find any traffic lights so you better put your running shoes on. But there really is very little to do. Walking around the streets endlessly the locals looked at us as if asking 'why you are here?' The most tourists we saw was at the train station on our departure. The less time you spend here the better it will be. L
